Will it fit my car?
OpenHaldex supports most Haldex systems used by Volkswagen Audi Group, plus the GM version of Gen4.

Model years vary by market and many cars changed generation part-way through production. Use the typical vehicles as a guide and confirm with the full Haldex versions and compatibility guide, which lists every make, model and year.
How to tell which generation you have
- Check the platform. MQB cars (Golf Mk7 onwards, Audi A3 8V onwards) are Generation 5. PQ cars can be Gen1 to Gen5 depending on age.
- Read the part number. The Haldex control module's part number shows up in a VCDS or OBD scan.
0CQand0AYprefixes are the most common on later cars.

Which harness?
The harnesses are optional but make installation plug-and-play and fully reversible.
- Gen1-4 harness for Generation 1, 2 and 4 cars.
- Gen5 harness for Generation 5 cars.

The controller works with every supported generation. You select the generation in Settings after fitting.
